Feel Good Friday

Are you free yet?

  1. Pretty much there when I don't have to pretend to care at work to get a paycheck lol

  2. I'm not free. But, I'm reasonably priced.

  3. Oh yeah. Beyond free. After I turned 40 there was no going back.

  4. So, so true! I found you through another blogger who is participating in the Blogging A to Z challenge. I really like your blog. Keep up the good work! Found you on A to Z!

  5. I think there is a lot of that kind of feeling at Walmart

  6. Replies
    1. Yep been free for many, many years much to my family's dismay.

  7. I stopped giving a shit what people thought of me years ago.

People I didn't know that is.

Sadly we will always sorta care about what parents, siblings, partners, kids think of us, unless we have none of those that is, or they're arseholes and we don't care what they think either, but as for the rest of society, really could not care less.

Besides, it's quite arrogant and narcissistic to think that other people are wasting their time and energy thinking and talking about you anyway.

My mother is ALWAYS worried about what other people will think, or what they hear and she's always shooshing me, which pisses me right off. I keep telling her that they don't care and to stop worrying but at 70 something she, for some stupid stubborn reason, cares about what strangers think.
