Weekend Wisecrack

It wasn't the first time I visited South of the Border.
But since when do pets do their business in order?
My dog takes a dump in the grass.
A toilet ain't no place for a canine's ass!

This weekend wisecrack was written is response to Trifecta's Writing Challenge . The challenge was to finish a story from the first 5 words "It wasn't the first time" using exactly 33 words.

  4. This is terrific. Real inventive. What with the image and all -- it's perfect. And the rhyming so works.
Those Mexicans are a real hoot. What's next? Dog TOILET PAPER? I mean, what would that even look like?
A retractable tongue on the wall?

  5. I kinda hate it when Max poops in the grass! It's so much harder to clean it up. Ugh! Oh!!! Did you not see my post on pet diapers! Yesss!

  6. I've not seen anything like this. Sheesh, my dogs would get thrown in Mexican jail - they would drink out of the toilets and pee on the floor.

  7. Now that's a first. I have never seen a sign like that. Although when I was at an Alpaca show a few months ago the trash can had a sign on it saying "No Poop In The Trashcan".It made me laugh out loud and all the Alpaca owners looked at me like I was a total loser for thinking that was funny. But, whatever. It was.

  11. Hmm, I'd like to see that toilet first. It might well be better than picking the poop up and putting it into a doggy bag.

  12. I think the most amazing thing is that when they travel south of the border, dogs can apparently read. :D
